History Stories
ESHP is holding a series of Afternoon Tea get-togethers with speakers that share stories of their past in the Everglades City area. These get-togethers are planned to be held on the second Tuesday of each month. Mark your calendars!
The first was held on October 8, 2026 featuring Carolyn Thompson.
You can view a video of her stories here.

Franklin Adams is our guest speaker for this month’s Afternoon Tea. Franklin is a renowned historian, environmentalist, and Gladesman who worked together with Marjory Stoneman Douglas, Joe Browder, and others to preserve the Big Cypress.
