Second Thursday Afternoon Tea Talk

Thursday, November 10, 2026 at 4:00 pm at the Rod & Gun Club. Reservations are required call 239-719-0020.

Franklin Adams is our guest speaker for November’s Afternoon Tea. Franklin is a renowned historian, environmentalist, and Gladesman who worked together with Marjory Stoneman Douglas, Joe Browder, and others to preserve the Big Cypress. He will share his stories about his friendship with Marjory and how they were able, along with the Native Americans, to stop the development of a proposed jetport. This is a talk you won’t want to miss!
