Many opportunities exist to photograph birds throughout the greater Everglades area. Just walking around town, you will see osprey, herons, white ibis, brown pelicans, and great-horned owls. This photo of roseate spoonbills was taken along Buckner Avenue in Everglades City. Whether you’re out in the swamp or boating in the Everglades, you will enjoy experiencing a wide variety of birds, especially during the winter season when the white pelicans and purple martins visit our area.
